Jewish Community Archives Photography Digitization

As an archive assistant for the State Historical Society of Missouri’s Kansas City office, I undertook a grant-funded project to digitize photographs from the Jewish Community Archives, which are housed at SHSMO-KC. From January through May 2019, I scanned and wrote metadata for more than 3,500 photographs, which will soon be available to researchers online. This number exceeded the goals for the project.

With time remaining on the grant funding, I also processed and wrote finding aids for fifteen small JCA collections.
